Birthday Cookie [Cake]

Man, do I have a lot of posts to catch up on. My husband's birthday was earlier this month, but I really wanted to share my "cake" I made for him.

So he's not the biggest cake-eater, and I wasn't about to make a giant cake to eat myself, practically. Or maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad idea. ;)  Anyways, I made his favorite cookies instead: Butterscotch Raisin Oatmeal Cookies.

I piled them high on a plate and called it his "cookie cake" and topped it off with a little happy birthday note. He practically ate all of the cookies within a couple nights himself.

I'm glad he liked them. :)
