I got the luxury one night to leave work "early" by 8pm, after putting 12 hours in already. I know the crazy hours continue.
But I stopped at Target and picked up a new book. I'll admit it, I love the Nicholas Sparks books, and I own every one. Sad but true, they just sucker me in somehow.
So that night, cuddled up on the couch and enjoyed a fresh strawberry milkshake, because I could not (for the life of me) open my bottle of Moscato wine. If you were in my apartment with me at that time, you would have laughed your butt off, on all the ways I tried to get the cork out.
yah yah I know. It was late in the evening already, give me some kind of credit. :)
But I will let you know how the book is, his books are a pretty easy read.
Have a wonderful day fellow bloggers.
i enjoyed that book! & love milkshakes of course :)
ReplyDeleteI've never read this one but I'd love to know how it is!
ReplyDeletemilkshake > wine :)
ReplyDeleteOh the FRUSTRATION that comes with not getting the flippin' cork out! I know that I am going to have to invest in some super-fancy bottle opener once Steve deploys because he is always my backup plan when I mutilate the corks.
ReplyDeleteI like N.S., except all of his books are depressing to me... I just don't like being sad! Can't wait to hear your review of it though! xoxo A-
ReplyDeleteMilkshakes are just as yummy as Wine so I say its a win win :) I to have trouble opening wine bottles some times and getting the corks out even with the fancy opener we have.
ReplyDeleteAre you hours always going to be crazy long, like 12 hour days like they have been??
Have you read the lucky one? I just finished and i loved it!!
ReplyDeleteI love Nicholas Sparks.. and hate when the wine won't open, which is far too often. The corks never come out clean. Guess that just means I need more experience. ;)
