Hi all-
As most know, I barely get time to blog, between my 70+ hour work week. So I apologize for the very be-lated Valentine's Day post.
So Valentine's day, I actually worked from 7:30am until 2:30am the next day. Nothing like spending the day, working a 18 hour shift and only see the husband as you get ready for work, and he's still sleeping because he works 2nd shift.
I found the idea very similar on Pinterest, but it was a quick way to show the husband some love.
I took an unused picture frame, placed some vintage-colored scrapbook paper behind it and wrote the words "I love..." on it.
Used a dry-erase marker to write the words:
"(I love...) how even if we don't get to see much of each other for Valentine's Day...I well "we" can leave little notes to each other now on here."
When I got home from work after that long day, I found this in the kitchen:
"(I love...) Surprise!! Bet you thought I would never use this thing Love you, drink a beer and try playing some Asasin's Creed!!"
Can you tell the husband got a new Play Station recently, and is trying to get me into playing?
It was a small first Valentine's day spent together as husband and wife, but I know there will be many more to come that we will be able to share together.
How did you Valentine's Day go?
Such a great idea! I love it!
