I love these two, and I couldn't help but take a quick snapshot of them late Sunday night. It's moments like this, that I am so thankful for the time we get to spend together, even if it's just two days out of the entire week. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Here's how the rest of our weekend went:
Friday afternoon, I had a couple guests over to visit. Harlee was loving all the attention from the little guy. She's not used to having kids over. :)While, I played blog designer for a his momma and helped her start her blog.
Here's her new blog design I created! Go check her out at: http://bellybuttonsandbows.blogspot.com/
Harlee and I enjoyed late night snacks on Friday night. I made some peanut butter rice krispie bars, and she finished off the jar of peanut butter. :)
We took the bike back to our alma mater and spent the gorgeous afternoon with some of his fraternity brothers on campus.
It was great to be back on campus. Most days I do miss it, the freedom, the no bills, the no worries. It was a great three years, and I wish we didn't have to become "adults" after graduation.
On Sunday, we went back to my hometown for my cousin's confirmation, and that night we soaked up any and all sunshine we could. We pulled out the smoker from the garage and fired it up. It's a sight I love seeing during this time of year.
My husband is great at grilling. We had marinated shrimp, grilled asparagus, bbq chicken, and
The rest of the night was spent on the couch together watching Footloose. The only downside was that the hours spent outside and my face did not get along well together. Started to break out, and it hurts/itches like a mother now.
What a great weekend! Can't believe it's Monday already! sigh!
