So I was trying to figure out what to make for dinner, and I suddenly realized I was craving my mom's Tater-Tot Casserole. So I decided to do my own twist to it.
Tater Tot Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 can of Cream of Chicken or Mushroom Soup (your choice)
1 can of Corn (drained)
1 bag of frozen tater tots
shredded cheese
pam spray for greasing
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Brown and drain ground beef.
3. Remove from heat and add can of cream of chicken/mushroom.
4. Lightly grease pan for easier cleaning.
5. Spread meat/soup mixture evenly in the bottom of the pan.
6. Sprinkle can of drained corn over meat.
7. Then strategically place the frozen tater tots over the top.
8. Place in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour. In the last 10 minutes you can sprinkle some shredded cheese to melt.
Yum! Added this to the things I need to make.
ReplyDeleteMy roommate in law school used to make this all the time. It was a staple in her Iowa family's dinner. I bet I could make a vegetarian version with some fake ground beef.
