high five for friday

Thursday was a blessing in disguise of 12 inch plus of snow fall in Wisconsin. Both myself and the husband didn't have to work.  It was great to get a day together. I made waffles for breakfast and we spent the rest of the afternoon attempting to shovel our little driveway. Our snow blower wouldn't start. :(

But we ventured out in his truck to get some errands done. Unfortunately most of the stores were closed too. So we had lunch at Red Robin, and I enjoyed my FREE mint brownie shake.

The rest of the night we vegged out on the couch, even Harlee was tired of trying to brave the snow.

Looking forward to this weekend, with family coming over and leaving the snow behind for a week at Fort Campbell, KY and Nashville, TN! :)
