"a portrait, once a week, for the year of 2014"
week three.
sometimes it seems the snow is never going to end here in Wisconsin, but then i have those brief moments where i enjoy it. brief very brief, mind you. this was taken after i shoveled the entire driveway, our sidewalk and the neighbor's side walk. exhausted but i somehow managed to run back into the house for my camera, to take a couple photos of the fresh snow that was falling. sometimes snow does have a pretty side.
I felt like I was living in a snowglobe on Friday and Saturday because there was just a constant, light snow falling for basically two days straight. I'm not sure if the snow that's falling right now that I dislike, or the fact that I know we still have another 2+ months of it to deal with!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty photo, Whit! As much as I'm ready for the snow to go, it sure is pretty when it's falling!
ReplyDeleteFeel free to send some of it this way! ;)
ReplyDeleteI always love the snow right after it stops, when nothing has been walked on yet (unless I have to go somewhere haha). Seems like winter is half the year, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeletethat is a gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteReally nice capture. I love that you can see the actual shape of the flake.
