on the fourth day of the cruise, we made our way to Belize City, Belize. we had set up an excursion again with the Princess Cruise line to see the Mayan Ruins. we took a river boat ride for about an hour (a little too long in both of our minds), stopped to have some delicious food, and then made our way by coach bus to the Altun Ha, Mayan Ruins. they were so cool to see and climb up and down. great experience to have!
once we had went through the ruins, we hopped back onto the bus and made our way back to the port. half way back the bus stalls, we stopped traffic from both ways and waited about 15 minutes. we got back to the port just in time when the last transfer boat was headed back to the ship. the husband had just enough time to grab two Belize beers on the ride back. we were so exhausted we took a 4 hour after. filled our face with more delicious food and two desserts (as always). that night they were showing Big Hero 6 at the "Movies Under the Stars" on the ship. we enjoyed being curled up outside with blankets, milk & cookies, popcorn and drinks that night and then headed to bed. we had a long day in Cozumel, Mexico that awaited us.
