Dear Husband,
Our one year anniversary is fast approaching (cough: Monday) and I know you are currently tied up playing with some really big guns and whatever else you do for Army training.
So I took the initiative and spent an entire afternoon at an antique mall searching for the best finds. Hope these ideas help to take the stress off your shoulders a bit.
Here's my favorites:
A rustic pair of white chairs, which would work beautifully in the dining room area.
This plate to add to our never-ending collection of Longhorn memorabilia.
Muchas gracias.
In all honesty, the best anniversary gift I could get would be for you to just get home already, even if it will be after our actual anniversary date. The days are just dragging and I look forward to night where we snuggle up on the couch, catch up on episodes of "Lost" on Netflix, and we finally enjoy our wedding cake slice together.
Too cute! I bet you're just so excited to have that hubby home!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great idea to shop for yourself, and take pictures so it's a simple process for your husband to go back and buy them. I know if I leave gift up to my husband I'm usually a little dissapointed. And as a fellow Army wife, it's hard when they miss anniversaries but I suggest just picking a specific day when he's back and celebrating as if that day was your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet! I want my husband to get home already too.
