camping

We had a quality couple days spent on the campgrounds. Lots of burgers & brats were grilled, lots of beer was drank, and lots of floating down the river on a tube happened.  This girl didn't get a lick of sunburn either.

On the fourth the husband posted something on Facebook that again makes me so proud of what he and everyone else does for us:

"I love my wife, I love my family, I love my guns, I love hunting, I love fishing, I love my freedom. Any enemy, foreign or domestic that sees fit to try to take those away from me can do it over my cold dead body. For those of you who see fit to not stand behind our Military I welcome you to stand in front of us. Happy Independence Day. 'Merica"

We packed up to leave early Friday morning, and the husband is now away at his unit's training until the middle of the month. We won't get much quality time together before he actually leaves for 7 months for his other training. But I'm thankful for those couple days where I will road trip down with him to it.

Hope you all had a wonderful & safe holiday.
