even better than our first dance

So a couple weeks or so ago the husband had the opportunity to work at a Country Music Festival for his Unit. He organized the entire thing, and I was so proud of him. On that first night of the festival, Eric Church as performing. If you haven't checked our Wedding Reception posts, you would know that our first dance was one of his songs: "Love Your Love The Most".  Well that night I made him promise we'd dance to it if he played it.  Hearing those first notes, we both looked at each other. Immediately he grabbed my hand, jumped on top of their humvee and we slow danced the entire song on it.  I took in each and every moment of that song, and thought to myself...this is even better than dancing it to it at our actual wedding. I mean, who can say they danced to their first wedding dance on top of an Army humvee? I'm sure not many.

There also have been lots of changes for my photography as well. This week I broke down and created my own website, and I have been obsessed with it. I love it, and would highly recommend squarespace.com for any one interested in creating their own as well. Here's the link to my site, if your interested: www.whitmezaphoto.com

The husband has been away for AT training with his unit for the past two weeks, and in that time both my mother-in-law and my brother-in-law have been staying with me. Man do they love to cook, I can't complain about steaks, chicken, and more on the grill.

Next week the husband finally comes home, and we can quickly pack up his stuff, load up the truck and make the roadtrip down to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma (where the husband will be spending the next 7 months). Speaking of which, I really need to get a plane ticket to come back yet. ha ha.
