week twenty two

it's official, my regular tee shirts have become tight. baby is just a growing, or actually more to say belly is just a growing. the little one is hanging out so low, it's crazy.

there was one morning where both Harlee and I just laid on the couch and i'd watch as my belly would pop up and down with it's punches. i think this is the first feeling i had that i am enjoying this pregnancy. besides seeing that bump finally grow in the mirror each day.

for some reason, and only being half way through, i'm ready to just have this baby already. i'm over the whole "pregnancy time" and to be honest i'm not sure if i'm going to miss it. i miss having my body already.  i miss not being able to eat certain things. i miss being able to not be afraid to work out too hard, even though i've done the complete opposite since i found out i was expecting. total lazy bones right here.

i don't know my heart just isn't enjoying this fully as much as i thought i would. Depressing week for me? you got that.

i was lucky enough to even bring myself down stairs with Harlee to take a bump photo, but man have i grown since week twelve. hello baby bump and bigger butt. ha ha.

guess i really do need to get my butt going and join some swim classes or something. this winter has made me so lazy. i can't wait for the first touch of spring, i always, every year seem to become so motivated then to start running like crazy. although this year it will be lots of walks with Harlee. which i know she will enjoy, instead of being cooped up inside all day long.

  1. Love your bump pics! Pregnancy is HARD- I feel like it's totally normal to not "enjoy" it as much as you might have thought you would. It's a crazy, foreign experience really! The best part is that you will enjoy having your baby in your arms more than you could ever anticipate :)

  2. You look great! I always felt like that too..I should really be enjoying this more! It's hard having your body change so much and havin restrictions. It'll all be worth it soon enough though! :)

  3. I have a love hate thing for pregnancy. It's hard but that miracle inside is wonderful. Don't feel guilty about anything, even not exercising. We've all been there. Plus, that little bump looks adorable on you.

  12. I'm sure that being alone with your pup in the middle of winter doesn't help! It'll all be worth it though...chin up :)

  13. You look amazing! Hang in there. It comes and goes in waves and I'm sure you'll be feeling better again soon. Maybe splurge a bit and pamper yourself (and that baby) this week with a pedicure or prenatal massage or yoga class. It's worth it. I think the winter blahs and being cooped up during the cold weather don't help. I got so restless when I was pregnant with Mac during the winter months too.

  14. My little boy is hanging out really low as well. It's so cool, even though I tell him to stop punching my bladder!
Hope you have a better week next week!
